To ensure your planned work will be accepted, please read over the following guidance note before continuing with your request:
Textured Finishings to Walls & Ceilings (Artexing)

Due to safety concerns and the removal cost, VHS will not grant permission for Artex to be applied to walls.

Textured finishings to ceilings should not be applied to decorative paper, i.e. ceilings should be stripped entirely before beginning work.

The texture of the pattern used should be as fine as possible, as heavy textures are more difficult to wash and decorate.

We will not maintain any textured finish. Should repair be required to the ceiling, we will not retexture the area to match the existing.

Upon termination of the tenancy, we may ask you to remove the textured finish and make the ceiling good, including decoration.
