We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award.
Our Chief Executive Kevin Gray said 'It is an honour that Veterans Housing Scotland has received the Silver Award in the Employer Recognition Scheme. As an organisation our purpose is to help disabled veterans in Scotland.
We are a small team and all our Visiting Officers are themselves veterans and this has proven to be a significant factor in our success. It is important that those beneficiaries we are striving to help on a day-to-day basis have regular contact with a team member who totally understands their situation. To that end, we are acutely aware of the value that veterans add to Veterans Housing Scotland and we are thrilled to be able to share this prestigious award with everyone in the team.’
