Veterans Housing Scotland provides homes to 653 veterans in Scotland who are disabled.

In recognition of our veterans' military service, often in difficult and dangerous times, the charity sets its rent levels below social housing levels.  This alone is significant, but we also now provide access to well-being support to achieve our aim of Building Lives – Building Communities.

There is an ongoing requirement to maintain our current properties and provide more homes as demand increases.  We believe that there is a requirement to provide 300 homes over the next ten years for veterans who are disabled.  Providing 30 homes per year comes at a considerable price.  Therefore, we ask you to consider helping us by donating what you can.

My advice to anyone finding themself in a similar position is not to be afraid to ask for help.  My life has definitely changed for the better since meeting Veterans Housing Scotland.
